“There is no tougher test” – if it survives testing under harsh racing conditions, it will be fine for everyday use. This is why our products are tested in enduro racing and in rallies such as the Dakar Rally. In 2002, Touratech was the first team in the history of that legendary desert race to get two motorbikes with fuel injection systems to the finish. Since rallies and enduro racing tend to expose even the tiniest flaws, Touratech has had its own racing team since 2005. It has achieved considerable success, including overall winner at the 24-hour Endurance Day and at the 12-hour Dawn to Dusk in Wales, along with top ten placings at the notorious Erzberg Rodeo and the Red Bull Romaniacs. The experience gained from this testing is incorporated directly into development work.
