Touratech Racing: Ready for Erzberg 2011

The legendary "Erzberg Rodeo" in Austria, one of the biggest motorbike off road events worldwide, is just around the corner. In 2010, Gerhard Forster on BMW G450X achieved a fantastic result for Touratech Racing finishing in ninth place among more than 1700 riders from all over the world - only 15 had made it to the finish line at all.
At the 2011 "Erzberg Rodeo" Touratech Racing's three extreme enduro specialists Gerhard Forster (starting number 9), Jens ter Jung (43) and Alex Sedlmair (72) will try to conquer the "Iron Giant" on their Touratech Husqvarnas TE 449. This solid four stroke bike has clearly proven its durability and suitability for difficult terrain in more than 15 races so far during this year's season (e.g. Hell's Gate, The Tough One, No Fear - No Limits, X-treme).
We will cross our fingers for our three "mountaineers", hoping that on Sunday evening, 26 June 2011, the "Erzberg Rodeo" slogan "Tougher than Iron" will apply to these brave heroes.
